Sustainable
Thinking Long term
Conservation Comes First
Hidden Valley exists to protect 7,200 acres of private reserve — that is our first priority.
We operate proudly off-grid using solar power, harvest and manage our own water, compost organic waste, and reduce single-use plastics wherever possible. We partner with wildlife conservation initiatives and continually invest in protecting the forest, waterfalls, and ecosystems entrusted to us. The lodge is here because the forest is.
Sustainability Begins With People
We source ingredients within a 15-mile radius whenever possible — working with local farms and cooperatives to support organic, farm-to-table dining. Our team is 100% Belizean, many from nearby villages, and we are committed to paying a living wage with benefits, ongoing training, and mental health support. Growth here is shared.
Honoring Heritage, Not Just Hosting It
Through curated culinary experiences, Mayan nights, storytelling, traditional ingredients, and thoughtful design details, we create space for culture to be experienced with respect and care. These traditions are not performances — they are living histories, shared with intention
